TRIBURLE ZACHARY JW
Ayrshire Collie 2012
Paul Battigan
PD 1 Collins' Triburle Zachary. Really a sweet eyed boy, refined in head, nice stop, clean through cheek and skull, enough depth and spring of rib. Well let down hock. Confident young man and moved out as such also. Nicely boned but retaining that refinement, nice lad. Best Puppy Dog.

Puppy Dog 8.2 1st Collins Triburle Zachary. What a super little pup. So confident for his age. I really liked this youngster. He has an excellent head well balanced with correct stop, nice eye. Uses his ears well. Very sound all over. Moved round the ring with correct tail carriage. Did all that is required of him. Best Puppy Dog.

1. Collins' Triburle Zachary..Have been an admirer of this boy since he first appeared in the ring, and today was pleased to have been given the opportunity to go over him, and indeed was not disappointed, a lovely youngster, who has everything going for him, of a lovely make and shape, nicely balanced all over, with a good reach of neck, and with a lovely head piece with an expression to die for!! His harsh sable coat was groomed to perfection, good quarters with ample bone and neat feet enabled him to move with purpose and drive, pleased to award him the Res CC. Have no doubt that with maturity will reach the upper house.

Triburle Zachary, what a lovely youngster, not over blessed with glamour but has quality from this famous kennel. His head is lovely & expression exquisite, good neck & shoulder, excellent top line, moves with drive & purpose. The bloom is just going on his coat, which cost him the RCC I would like another crack at him.

2 Collins. Triburle. Celtic. Touch. Sable dog who was very unlucky to meet the winner in such outstanding form. Very similar in most ways to first. Lovliest of head eye and expression great shape moved soundly and as always from this kennel the presentation was top drawer. On a split hair decision with winner happy to award him res cc.

Ld (7) 1 Collins Triburle Celtic Touch. 2 and a half year old sable of instant appeal. He has a very neat head with the sweetest of expressions, and well-placed ears. He co-operated well with his handler. A dog of balance, he had enough bone. His well-constructed body was covered by a coat of the correct texture. Good, firm topline and excellent rear quarters, enabling him to move as a Collie should. I gave him his second CC and, on this form, his third cannot be far away.

PD (8) 1 Collins Jopium Touch of Soul for Triburle. 11months. Very attractive sable of good size, excellent in overall profile, carrying a profuse coat, in excellent condition, which was beautifully presented, glorious arched neck, and he has glamorous markings to go with it, depth of rib, and excellent hindquarters, he moved particularly well with correct tail carriage, he has a very nice clean head, correct stop, and well placed dark eye giving the desired expression, beautifully placed ears, responding to his handler at all times, and well handled. LD (10,2) 1 Collins' Jopium Touch Of Soul At Triburle. 2-year-old S&W of outstanding quality. A shape to die for and an outline that stood out in a class full of quality. Masculine without any coarseness this dog is getting better as he matures. A level topline, which was held on the move. A flat skull good underjaw and lovely cheeky male expression with ears used non-stop. Top presentation and covered the ground with ease. I understand this gained him his crown. CC BOB BIS a worthy champion.

2 Collin’s Jopium Touch of Soul for Triburle. This dog is very special and I have liked him since I first saw him at, I think, his first show. Half brother to Simply Red and so much the same type. He has a tad more neck and really tight ear carriage but the same style of dog who makes the absolute best of himself. The eye placement is the same but this one is a littler fuller in eye which makes his expression even cheekier and when something catches his attention wow, its magical. A slower maturing dog who is improving all the time and may still take some time to reach his full potential. He is refined in muzzle and still needs to fill a little in foreface but he would lose some of his charm if he were heavy in head. Res CC

Open - 1 Collin’s Ch Jopium Touch Of Soul for Triburle, last time I judge this glorious g/s I gave him RCC saying in my critique I thought his best was yet to come. Well it was & it has & I think he is a fabulous dog. Outline screams elegance, arched neck, a body that is of good length with great spring of rib, great upper arm & wonderful rear angulations, head so refined with correct stop & he is so clean & smooth under eyes & ear placement is perfect. Most of all he has this expression that gives me goose bumps. Inquisitive, cheeky & oh so appealing, he really blows me away. On the move covered the ground with ease & with great reach being sound & true in all directions with tail carried out behind him. On top of all this he was groomed down to his skin & looked at handler with the certain knowledge that he is adored. It gave me the greatest pleasure to be able to award him the CC at this prestigious show in such good company. BOB in agreement with co-judge & I felt very proud that he represented our lovely breed so well in the group ring where he looked stunning;

OD. (10,2). The best class of the day full of quality dogs and I was splitting hairs between the placings. 1 Collins. Ch. Jopium Touch of Soul at Triburle. S/w with quality head well filled muzzle good dark eye with neat ears which were bang on top showing off his lovely expression, good reach of neck correct shoulders well sprung rib good length of back and rear angulation which enabled him to move with drive and keep a good level topline, well presented and handled never put a foot wrong and couldn't be denied CC. In agreement with my co judge BOB. Went on to win BIS under Mr Vic Salt.

2 Collin’s Ch Jopium Touch Of Soul for Triburle, s/w, fabulous show career, a great opportunity to get to judge him again, the last time I gave him the RCC. When he is at his best he is a very difficult dog to beat. He usually shows on the tips of his toes demanding you to look at him, when he pulls it all together his presence is magical. Alas today that was not to be seen, he had to cope with a change of handler, both showing him differently. He is now fully mature with a huge coat which just did not enhance his lovely outline especially on the move. He has so many glorious virtues which he is passing on to his progeny, the sign of a special male

O (11, 3) A super class, where I was really spoilt for choice, to leave out some really lovely quality bitches on the day was not easy but I was looking for one with that extra special something and found it in 1 Collins Ch Salsina Celtic Rosebud at Triburle JW. lovely sable bitch well deserving of her title and today, she pulled out all the stops in this strong class. Lovely clean head, flat skull with a very feminine expression gained by correct eye placing and ear carriage. Good reach of neck, one of few with length and the rise over the loin which enhanced her outline. Yes, she has her faults but when compared to the others, her overall quality, soundness and character took her through Moved with drive in both directions. At one with her handler and in the challenge appeared with not a hair out of place, stood and asked for the CC, which was my pleasure to give and ultimately BIS on the decision of the referee.

OPEN BITCH (1)
The CC and RCC winners both came from this class and though of quite different types had one main and important thing in common. They each presented a complete picture of an attractive, well balanced animal that caught my attention. They were well conformed, poised and capable of really moving out, in addition to showing their heads off.
2nd & RBCC Collin’s CH. SALSINA CELTIC ROSEBUD AT TRIBURLE J.W. another bitch who stood out in this class though of a different type and somewhat smaller than 1. Ultra feminine head with sweet expression and well placed ears, eye and stop. PGB (17) 1 Collins’ Salsina Celtic Rosebud at Triburle. This b demanded attention on entering the ring for her overall balance & on examination I found her so pleasing to go over, as she is well constructed with the right amount of bone. Pleasing head, which is well proportioned, with flat skull, neat ears, well placed eye, giving the desired expression. Her movement was v good fore & aft & she co-operated well with handler, a pleasure to go over. A v feminine b. RCC.

LB. (10). 1. Collins’, Salsina Celtic Rosebud at Triburle JW. The star of the show for me. Yes she is at the lower end of the size scale, but every inch is packed full of correct breed type. Plus she has that elusive charisma that puts her head and shoulder above her rivals. The overall picture is completely feminine with total balance. Nicely arched neck flowing into good shoulders. Strong back. Correct rise over the loin. Well muscled quarters. Strong hocks. giving a super outline standing and on the move. She has a driving ground covering action. Her head is lovely with the flattest of skulls, good foreface and dark well shaped and placed eyes, neat correctly carried ears, combining to give a correct and heart melting expression. She is such an extrovert character that she can rise her tail on the move but never over her back and it just emphasises her animation and activity. CC and BIS.

Res CC

Open - 1 Collin’s Ch Jopium Touch Of Soul for Triburle, last time I judge this glorious g/s I gave him RCC saying in my critique I thought his best was yet to come. Well it was & it has & I think he is a fabulous dog. Outline screams elegance, arched neck, a body that is of good length with great spring of rib, great upper arm & wonderful rear angulations, head so refined with correct stop & he is so clean & smooth under eyes & ear placement is perfect. Most of all he has this expression that gives me goose bumps. Inquisitive, cheeky & oh so appealing, he really blows me away. On the move covered the ground with ease & with great reach being sound & true in all directions with tail carried out behind him. On top of all this he was groomed down to his skin & looked at handler with the certain knowledge that he is adored. It gave me the greatest pleasure to be able to award him the CC at this prestigious show in such good company. BOB in agreement with co-judge & I felt very proud that he represented our lovely breed so well in the group ring where he looked stunning;

OD.

CC and BIS.
